Join us for a DIY workshop at Hayama’s Hayasta. The stools normally sell for 33,000 yen, but now you can make one for only 19,800 yen! This is a very economical project.
The workshop will be held at Hayama Craftsman’s lodge in Hayama, Hayasta’s partner lumberyard, Nagatsu Lumberyard, located at the foot of deep green Hayama satoyama.
It is sure to be a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Worried About Your Skill Level? Don’t Be! What Will You Do in This Workshop?
This workshop includes a stool kit with pre-cut parts for the seat and legs, which are sized appropriately for the project. The main task is to shape the pieces yourself. You’ll be shaping the seat, adjusting the legs, and attaching them, experiencing the fun of woodworking firsthand. Don’t worry, the instructor will be there to guide you through every step!
The stool legs come pre-formed into cylindrical shapes, but you’ll need to adjust the thickness and length of the legs yourself to fit the seat. This is a great chance to experience the essence of DIY woodworking.
Got it! It’s not just about assembling parts but adjusting and making it your own! That’s what makes woodworking so much fun!
